If you want to send a personalized note to a client, nothing shows your appreciation like a handwritten note in a customized discount envelope.
You can make a really special one with on-hand office supplies. Take a sheet of regular 8.5-by-11-inch copy paper and fold it into quarters. Sharpen the creases with your thumbnail. Get a roller-ball or gel pen or a fine-point marker – not an ordinary ball-point pen. Write “Thank You” on the front in your finest handwriting (write slowly to make it extra neat). On the inside, write a short note expressing your gratitude: “Just want to thank you for taking so much time out to discuss your project – I really understand your needs now,” for example, and then sign it. If you have messy handwriting, find somebody in your office who does have neat handwriting.
If you can draw, you can even make a nice little picture on the front. Use multiple colors if you like. Slip the note into an invitation-sized (4-3/8 by 5-3/4 inch) envelope. The pens and envelopes are easy to get in large numbers when you order your regular discount office supplies.
