Discount Greeting Cards are thoughtful and personal

Wednesday, May 18th, 2011

You’ve worked hard to build personal relationships with your clients. Some of them you see so frequently that you’ve come to know them like friends. Others are brand new, and you want to establish that kind of close rapport. One way to do that is to note people’s birthdays and pay attention when they tell you a special occasion is coming up, like a wedding, an anniversary or the birth of a child. Then when the time comes, about a week before the actual date, send them a homemade greeting card. Bereavement is also an important time to send a personal message. You don’t have to be able to draw or paint – just use the software that comes with many packages of greeting card paper, which also includes envelopes.

Order discount greeting card paper with your regular discount office supplies, and you’ll always have some on hand so that you can let your client know you’re thinking of them. They’ll appreciate that kind of individual care, and you’re more likely to retain and grow that business relationship. It’s such a simple thing – take ten minutes to create a highly personal greeting card with your own tailor-made message inside. If you have plenty of greeting card paper in stock with your regular discount office supplies, you’ll always be ready to recognize your client’s special day.

Invitation-sized envelopes can make a personal touch

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011

If you want to send a personalized note to a client, nothing shows your appreciation like a handwritten note in a customized discount envelope.

You can make a really special one with on-hand office supplies. Take a sheet of regular 8.5-by-11-inch copy paper and fold it into quarters. Sharpen the creases with your thumbnail. Get a roller-ball or gel pen or a fine-point marker – not an ordinary ball-point pen. Write “Thank You” on the front in your finest handwriting (write slowly to make it extra neat). On the inside, write a short note expressing your gratitude: “Just want to thank you for taking so much time out to discuss your project – I really understand your needs now,” for example, and then sign it. If you have messy handwriting, find somebody in your office who does have neat handwriting.

If you can draw, you can even make a nice little picture on the front. Use multiple colors if you like. Slip the note into an invitation-sized (4-3/8 by 5-3/4 inch) envelope. The pens and envelopes are easy to get in large numbers when you order your regular discount office supplies.
